Hello, I admire a lot of skills, but the one I admire the
most is a high corporeal awareness. This skill has so many applications, one of
the most important applications for this skill is the auto knowledge, this is
so important to feel good whit ourselves and being nice in day to day, have a
great ability to identify our internal problems and solve it.
But the application I like to practices more is the corporeal
awareness in sports, more specifically the physical awareness. I like to train
this ability, first because I do gymnastics and to progress in this discipline you
need to have a total control of your body and the position you have in the air
with regard of the floor and so many movements that you have to do the exercise
correctly, progress and don´t get injured.
The are many possibilities to train the corporal awareness,
the most common is meditating (thing that I don´t do frequently), but I try to
train it the more possible in the day, breathing consciously, trying to know
where all the parts of my body are and what are it doing, and trying to connect
all my thoughts, and what I think with my body and actions.
When one does yoga, meditation, and the teacher makes you breath and reconize all the parts of your body, it one of the most gratifying sensations.. feel every toe... When you can control our your body, should be when better results the sports.
